London-Edinburgh, Fullarton & Co., undated (circa 1850). In 8vo. Work in 2 volumes. Half leather binding with gilt corners and trim. Spine with friezes and plug. Cloth boards. Marbled endpapers and edges. The first volume is accompanied by the portrait on the frontispiece, the title page illustrated in colour and 32 fine hand-illustrated colour plates; while the second volume is accompanied by the hand-illustrated colour frontispiece, the title page illustrated in colour and 39 fine hand-illustrated colour plates. The hinges of the first volume have been restored, while those of the second are simply worn. Slight yellowing of the pages and scattered stains.
