Venice, Albrizzi printing house, 1758. In-4°. Full parchment binding. Vignette on the frontispiece and a copper-engraved header c. A2. Playful poem on the occasion of the very happy wedding between His Excellency Mr. Pietro Contarini and Her Excellency Mrs. Maria Vernier.
First edition, the poem was reprinted in Volume II of the Componimenti diversi . The author, having stated that he is inspired by the truth and that all his art consists in "recounting what others have said", reports, in various dialects and comically Italianized foreign languages, the many praises he heard about the newlyweds at a banquet of mutual friends.
