Fowler, 33° - Ornam.St.Cat. 2389/90 (another edition). - Second edition of the “Cours d'architecture”, considered the best work of architectural theory in France for over a century. The beautiful ornamental engravings show buildings by Michelangelo and Vignola, as well as gardens, column arrangements, ceiling ornaments, portals, cornices, plinths, fireplaces, stoves, etc.
