In 2°, 360 x 255 mm., pp. (6)-8-(6) with 2 original woodcuts by the author placed as header and tailpiece, two other woodcuts decorate the frontispiece and the cover, dedication by the author to Giuseppe Ungaretti on the first flyleaf. Editorial paperback, foxing and marginal browning.
Specialist Notes
Original edition printed on heavy paper in only 350 copies, 50 of which are hand-numbered and signed by Ardengo Soffici, this is copy no. 6. A masterpiece of the artist's book by the "passatista" and local Soffici of the 1920s, it is the ideal counterpart to the «BÏf§ZF», the futurist work of the 1910s. Like that, a first edition was printed in large format (over 30 cm high) followed by a second in smaller format.
