Venice, Lucantonio Giunta, [1531]. In 4th. On the title page, woodcut engraving of Virgil presenting the Aeneid to Augustus, typographical mark on the title page and at the end, woodcut illustrations, restored title page, restoration on the external margin cc. II-XLIII, slight defect on the external margin of some papers, rare redness, small ink stain to censor the nudity of the cartoon on the reverse of the cover. CCLV of the Aeneid, contemporary binding in full rigid parchment, title in gold within a gusset on the spine. Ownership notes on the title page.
