Specialist Notes
First work: Original edition of the most famous work by Raiberti (1805-1861), the so-called poet-doctor who composed in Milanese dialect to achieve tender and carefree effects. «Some friends reproach me for the frivolity of my writings: imagine what your enemies will say» [p.10]. This text is the eulogy of his dog. The dialogue between pages 14 and 20 with his Typography Proto is very interesting, in which they enjoy discussing characters, drafts, errata etc.
