The author, originally from Ripa di Limosano in the province of Campobasso, in this work analyzes the backwardness of agriculture in the Kingdom and also in the rest of Italy and highlights the responsibility of the owners of the rustic lands who rent the bare land to the laborers without providing them with tools and seeds or animals, preventing the rotation of sowing which would allow a better yield of the soil.
