Information
Civitavecchia, 6 October 1851. 4th. Signed manuscript, in clear and legible handwriting consisting of 27 unnumbered leaves. Modern binding in red morocco, cords, friezes on the spine, title and golden frame on the plates.
Specialist Notes
The memoir, with clear political and economic arguments, was written in defense of the plan for the establishment of a government discount fund, presented by De Pompeo and opposed by Minister D'Urso and other exponents of the Neapolitan government. De Pompeo's printed works are reported in the Einaudi Catalog and the Kress Library.
