Specialist Notes
Guido Corni, explorer, naturalist and cartographer, held the position of governor of Italian Somalia from the summer of 1928 to the summer of 1931. The first volume, the result of the collaboration of several scholars, examines the natural landscape, ethnicity and history of Somalia, starting from ancient commercial connections up to the discoveries of the twentieth century. The second volume instead focuses on the works carried out in Somali territory. Specimen no. 2108.
