Title within a frame supported by two skeletons on the frontispiece engraved on copper, at the base a vignette depicting an anatomical lesson, full-page portrait of the author, with 44 full-page anatomical plates, small worm hole on the internal margin, sometimes restored, slight foxing , very small hole on the external white margin, two restorations on the last leaf, leather binding from a later period, gold title within a gusset on the spine.

Rare seventeenth-century edition of this classic of sixteenth-century anatomy, illustrated by very accurate anatomical tables exemplified on those engraved on copper by Nicolas Beatrizet based on a design by Gaspar Becerra, and taken from Vesalius, which already appeared in the Spanish edition of 1556.
