Paper manuscript in 4° format, 244 x 154 mm., signed and dedicated in 1662 to the Procuratore di S. Marco Marco Contarini, initial V illuminated and decorated with white scrolls in the colors green, blue, purple and red, other watermarked initials in the text, beautiful red morocco binding with refined decorations on the plates, peeling.

Giovanni Legrenzi (Clusone, 1626[1] – Venice, 27 May 1690) was an Italian composer and organist of the Baroque era. He was one of the most important composers in Venice in the late 17th century and played a leading role in the development of the baroque musical language in northern Italy.
