Folio, frontispiece, vignette on the title page and header placed at the beginning of the dedication to Charles of Bourbon are etched by Francesco La Marra, pp. (4)-462-(2) and 25 architectural plates etched by Francesco Cepparuli, "the best, says Galiani, that I was able to choose among our men for diligence and prudence", each plate is accompanied by an explanatory text sheet. Initials and endings are the work of Ignazio Lucchesini. Restoration of the frontispiece and frontispiece. Some slight marginal foxing.
Specialist Notes
Italian translation, with Latin text on the front, conducted on two manuscripts in the Vatican Library and on the first Venetian edition of 1497 accompanied by notes and indexes by Galiani.
