Amstelodami, Apud Ioannem Ianssonium. Copper engraving, ca 1640. Coeval colouring. Measurement cm. 43 x 54.5, wide margins. Title enclosed in artistic cartouche. Latin text on the reverse. The map depicts England, Scotland and Ireland. In a separate box at the top right the Shetland Islands are portrayed and at the bottom right you can see the coastal area of Belgium. At the top left, large scroll entirely watercoloured.
