On the frontispiece there is a figured plate engraved in copper illustrated vignette on the title page, numerous figures of statues and coins, small woodworm holes, halos, contemporary leather binding brown, stamped decorations on the spine in gold, shortcomings and defects.

ORIGINAL EDITION of this work by the Lyonnais doctor art lover, Spon (1647-1685), composed of 31 dissertations on medals, bas-reliefs, statues and ancient inscriptions that he encountered during his travels to Rome, Venice, Dalmatia, the islands of the Archipelago, Constantinople, Patras, Delphi , Thebes.
