Paper manuscript of approximately 200 pages, 170 x 115 mm., written by a single hand, dated Milan 1753 on the first page, the dedicatory letter is signed by Carlo Maria Scotia, the entire text is thickly interleaved with dozens of ink illustrations depicting city plans, geometric details of military architecture, elements of fortifications etc. Coeval rustic hardback binding. Everything to study.
