Specialist Notes

Original edition. Interesting work that tells, also with anecdotes, often witty, through the biographies of its most illustrious characters, the history of the Bourbon dynasty, which for many centuries had a considerable influence on the political and economic life of Europe. The work is divided into two parts: the first embraces all the princes of the House of Bourbon, from Henry IV, who was its progenitor, up to the advent of Henry IV to the throne; the second part, the largest, occupies three volumes and includes the other principles that followed up to 1790.
