Specialist Notes
Extremely rare work. There is not much information on the life and works of Girolamo Marini, a renowned ophthalmologist, who belongs to the famous Precian empirical school dating back to the 12th century. The prerogative of these doctors was that they did not come from university studies but the notions were handed down from father to son and they were specialized and, therefore, in demand throughout Europe, in operations of bladder lithotomy, castration and eye surgery.
