Venice, Niccolò Bevilacqua, 1568 [at the colophon 1567] and Parma, Seth Viotti, 1567, the latter entitled "The last four books of the Historie d'Italia". In 4th. 2 vols. Typographic brand engraved in wood on the title pages and on the colophon of the I vol., woodcut drop caps and friezes, some underlining and gloss in an ancient hand, I vol. with slight water stain on the edge of the first two leaves of the I vol., small woodworm hole on the edge of a few files, slightly trimmed, light browning, rare marginal blooms; II vol. some woodworm holes affecting the text, some slight water gora, parchment binding of a later period, author and title embossed in gold within a label on the spine. At the I vol. ownership signatures erased on the title page, handwritten endpaper
