Fruit of the numerous excursions in the Sassari area carried out by the mathematician, zoologist and Jesuit Francesco Cetti (Mannheim, 9 August 1726 - Sassari, 20 November 1778) who set foot in Sardinia for the first time in 1765 with the aim of raising the educational level of the schools and fell in love with this land.
