(following from leaf 5r coeval numbering 1-52v), format in 8°, 215 x 150 mm., datable to the mid-19th century, anonymous elegant handwriting by a single hand except recipes on the last leaves by another hand, without binding within case with modern box bearing title in gold on the spine.
Specialist Notes
Pharmaceutical-medicinal recipe book, a precious document for the history of medicine and nineteenth-century pharmacy; on the first page, in modern handwriting, it reads "Old recipe book of professors of my family N.V."
