Turin, Paravia, Turin, 1884,. in 4th. 2 vols. Text framed in red and black, 2 black and white plates with commemorative medals, 21 plates outside the text depicting coats of arms of Italian cities, executed in chromolithography, each protected by vellum, both volumes in red morocco binding with decoration embossed in gold, in the center of the front plates the arms of the House of Savoy, at the foot of the spine of the first volume, the binder's signature "TARDITI", some ink stains and slight fading on the second volume.
Specialist Notes
Luxury edition printed in 300 copies, ours is the n. 6 . the copy comes from the library of Amedeo Duke of Aosta, in signed binding and finely decorated in gold with the Savoy arms.
