Text framed by elegant borders of various different colors on each page, impressed by Motteroz and Martinet, very numerous color illustrations outside the text impressed by G. de Malherbe and engraved by Mulot, Krièger, mostly reproducing Persian and Indian miniatures, light browning, elegant blue half leather binding with gold title and tomaison on double red gusset, friezes, minor defects.
