Rome, 1832-39. In 4th. 5 vols. With CCCIV (of CCCVIII) plates engraved in copper outside the text and XIII plates outside the text, flourishes, the title page of vol. II with a tear on the inner margin, coeval half leather binding, smooth gilt-stamped spine with a lyre in the compartments, plate with gold author and title, yellow cuts, peeling, flat abrasions.
