First and only edition of this work, the first scientific study in the historiography of the troubled events of the cathedral of Milan. The interesting illustrations depict plans, sections, elevations, cross-sections, perspective views, as well as details of the internal and external ornamentation of the cathedral and are the work of the well-known engravers Francesco and Gaetano Durelli and Giuseppe Bramati.
