Illustrated frontispiece on each volume and header to the coat of arms of the dedicatee of the work, light browning and some stains, coeval binding in mottled brown calfskin, in the compartments of the spine indexing insert surmounted by a noble crown, insert with title and friezes in gold, peeling and some lack. Noble ex libris on the verso and handwritten ownership signature on the flyleaf.
Specialist Notes
Work dedicated by the author to Jules Hardouin Mansard (1646-1708), considered the main exponentof the French Baroque.
