Poole and accompanied by as many text leaves in English and French, light burnishing on some leaves, coeval binding in blue long grain morocco, gold-embossed decoration, framed on the plates embossed in gold, spine with 5 raised bands with title compartments and geometric ferges in gold, gilt edges, peeling.

The plates depict popular characters in costume: peasants and villagers from Upper Austria, Upper Carniola, the Moravian plain, Tyrol, the County of Neutra, Hungarians, bohemians, and others .
