Fano, Vigolini, 1708. In 4th. Elegant frontispiece with figures and allegorical, Frontispiece engraved on copper by Hubert Vincent, 7 portraits engraved in copper outside the text, foxing and slight reddening, coeval parchment binding, handwritten title on the spine, stain on one plate and slight losses.
Specialist Notes
Uncommon edition printed in Fano on the order of Santo Stefano. Melzi, p. 31 and Affo', p. 78 refer to a subsequent edition printed in Fano in 1708 which would be a counterfeit of a previous Milanese one, printed by the Sirtori brothers, in 1708.
