Amsterdam, 1779. In 8th. Frontispiece with portrait of the author "Prince Castriotto d'Albanie", pseudonym of  Stefano de Zannowich, light browning, reinforcement on the inner margin of p. 225, modern binding  in rigid cardboard.

Specialist Notes

Stefano Zannowich was an adventurer from Budva who gained considerable notoriety for posing as a king. His most important published work was the 'Turkish Letters' of 1776.
