Half-title, engraved allegorical frontispiece, 172 intaglio illustrations numbered in the text, elegantly engraved initials, headpieces and friezes, small hole in pl. 53, woodworm hole on the inner margin of the first and last issues, some leaves with light browning, some slight foxing, leather binding of a later period, title embossed in gold within a red label on the spine with gold decorations, very slight signs of use .
