Information
Florence, for the heirs of Philippo de Giunta, 1521 on the 20th February. In 8th. At the end of the volume, the Florentine Giglio brand with two putti holding two cornucopias at the sides, resting on a base, evanescent noble stamp on the first page. Splendid red leather binding with gilt iron frames on the plates, spine with 5 raised bands with compartments decorated with floral elements and title, gilt edges, 18th century.
Specialist Notes
FIRST EDITION REACHED, IN FIRST IMPRESSION, characterized by the following two spelling errors: “Boccacio” instead of “Boccaccio” on the title page and “ceneri accese il desio” instead of “ce ne reaccese il desio” on the card 2, line 21.
