Paris, chez Henri Remoissenet, n.d. [c. 1790]. In 4th. A first plate depicting Aesop observing Nature to draw inspiration, followed by the Life of Aesop on 14 fully engraved pages, 19 figures illustrating the Life of Aesop, then 107 fables illustrated in the upper part by a vignette, at the bottom of the relevant text, a last plate depicts the divine honors rendered to Aesop. Bound in brown half leather and marbled cardboard, worn.
