Nice chalcographic title page, 47 woodcut illustrations in the text, typographical brand on the colophon, small tear without loss on the title page and some very slight halos, light browning, some slight marginal foxing, rare small spots, parchment binding with embossing on the plates.
Specialist Notes
Work of the writer and historian Ciro Spontone (Bologna, circa 1552 - circa 1610) who held important positions in the most prestigious courts of northern Italy, was Secretary of the Senate of Bologna and later Governor of Rovigo.
