Allegorical frontispiece and panel with portrait of Pope Clement X engraved in copper by Romeyn de Hooghe, 23 (of 27) full and double-page intaglio plates depicting antiquities and views of Albano, Nemi, Ariccia, Frascati, Palestrina, Tivoli, Paludi Pontine, etc., copper engraved illustrations in the text, inserted 3 leaves (*3) between S4 and T1 not marked on SBN, usual burnishing and foxing, first 3 leaves slightly loose, two small tears without loss in the white margins of the frontispiece , coeval parchment binding, author and title imprinted within a gusset on the spine with 5 raised bands, endpapers from a later period in decorated paper, slight halo on the front cover, small tear on the hinge and on the spine, minor defects. Evanescent stamp on title page.
