Woodcut frieze on the frontispieces, half-title on vol.I, upper internal corner of the last issue of vol.I incomplete, small woodworm holes in the lower white margin of vol. II, blooms and brownings, coeval rigid parchment binding, 5-point spine nerves, superior portion of the ligature of vol.I lacunosa. Signature of belonging to the guard cards: Gio. Carlo Pico.

Fourth edition of Franciosini's famous Italian version of the Spanish masterpiece, first printed in Italian between 1622 and 1625 by the Baba of Venice.
