Basle, Pietro de Sedabonis, 1576. In 4th. Typographic mark on the copper engraved title page, engraved decorated drop caps, text in Roman and Greek characters, some handwritten notes, worn title page with delicate restorations, burnishing and water gore, small woodworm hole in the internal white margin of some files, in the last part restorations and gaps in the inner margin without loss of text, original binding in brown calfskin, back with 5 nerves, damaged. Signature of belonging to the title page.

Second edition of Aristotle's Poetics edited by Ludovico Castelvetro, which came out posthumously and edited by his brother Giovanni Maria who intervened on the text. The first edition was published in Vienna for Gaspar Stainhofer in 1570. & nbsp; & nbsp;
