In beards, with 2 plates of which a large folded geographical map, light browning, slight blooms, tear without loss on the inner edge of the card, first two cards of the II volume loose, paperback in blue cardboard, paper block with title and volume on the back , slight defects. Exemplary in beards, light browning, some sporadic flowering, modern cardboard binding, author and title stamped in gold within a gusset on the spine. Paper ex libris on the counterplate.

Second original edition of this interesting account of a long journey that since July 1806 crosses Greece, Turkey, the Dead Sea, Jerusalem, Egypt, Tunis, and then ends in Paris in June 1807.
