Specialist Notes
In 1932 the prestigious Novissima Publishing House, directed by Edoardo De Fonseca, published a volume of the history of the Palio di Siena, with text by Piero Misciatelli and illustrations by Duilio Cambellotti, who had gone to Siena in the two previous years to create the work. , to attend the Palio.
