Specialist Notes
Good example of this uncommon collection of poems. It contains the Rhymes of Brocardo, Niccolò Delfino and Francesco Maria Molza, whose celebrated poem La nimpha tiberina is here in FIRST EDITION. The critical hatred with which Brocardo lashed out at Bembo's works was famous, which cost the author the discredit of his compositional skills, especially in the Triveneto area where Bembo was held in great respect. Gamba 1518: "... they were published by Francesco Amadi"; Brunet III, 1818.
