Specialist Notes
"Among the seven theosophical manuals published in the years 1890-1900 by A. Besant and C.W. Leadbeater, in order to make the teachings contained in the works of H.P. Blavatsky more accessible to the public, the latest to be published is this text entitled < i> Man and his bodies and has had, like other manuals, numerous reprints. One of the most important teachings of modern Theosophy consists in demonstrating that the human being, like every living thing, exists not only on the physical level, limited to the sensory dimension, but at the same time also on various other levels or planes of matter, gradually more and more subtle for perception, on which the different functions of the human being himself are expressed, such as vitality, feeling, thought, intuition, will. (E. Bratina, Presentation , p.9 in "Man and his bodies", Vicenza, 2011.).
