Rare view of the city of Venice depicting Piazza San Marco taken from the painting by George Hoefnagle of 1578. The work is taken from the "Civitates Orbis Terrarum" & nbsp; by Braun & amp; Hegenberg, edition of 1598. The view on the right shows the Doge's Palace during the fire of 1577.
