In 8th. & Nbsp; Elegant copper engraved title page depicting & nbsp; Alexander the Great on horseback trampling his enemy Darius, map "Alexandri magni macedonis folded expeditio", on p.184 there is a panel depicting a palace with a garden, coeval parchment binding, manuscript author to the back.

Uncommon edition & nbsp; exit from the & nbsp; presses & nbsp; of the Elzevirian typography enriched by a map and a table, the first shows the triumphal march of Alexander through Egypt and Asia, the other & nbsp; depicts the 'fons solis', a fountain in the Egyptian oasis of the temple of Ammon, cool at noon and warm at sunrise and sunset.
