Venice, Giolito de Ferrari, 1588. In 4th. 2 vol. Woodcut frame figured on the frontispieces with typographic mark, friezes and initials engraved in wood, text on two columns within the frame, numerous illustrations in the text, light browning, some sporadic flowering, rare small spots, at vol. lack in the lower margin of the title page, woodworm hole in the inner margin of some files, partially detached O4-5 papers, coeval binding in marbled calfskin, title and tome number imprinted in gold on the spine with 6 nerves with friezes, red cuts, 4 small woodworm holes on the back of the first volume, slight abrasions, leather case with dry impressions and red insert with title, slight defects. Paper ex libris for counterplates.
