Naples, Stamperia Raimondiana, 1776. In 4 °. Eye, woodcut frieze on the title page, with 2 folded plates engraved by Giuseppe Aloja, headbands and initials engraved in wood, small gaps in the first cards that do not affect the text, blooms, coeval parchment binding with author and title stamped in gold within gusset on the back, slight halos.
Specialist Notes
First edition of this work written by the architect Nicolò Carletti (1723-1796) which contains two folded plates engraved by Giuseppe Aloja: a beautiful scenic view to the west of the city of Naples and a large topographical map of the city.
