London, S. Roycroft, 1679-1677. In 2nd. 3 parts in one vol. First title page printed in red and black, in the first part numerous coats of arms engraved in wood in the text, some of which colored by hand, in the second and third part, with 73 sheets of copper engraved plates, several engraved on both sides and with more of an engraving, depicting portraits and full page and blazons, some restorations, light burnishing, rare light halos, back binding in chagrin , author and title stamped in gold on the 5-rib spine, gilded cuts, light abrasions at the edges and back, small gap in a nerve. Signature of belonging to the title page.

Valuable heraldic treatise, richly illustrated with coats of arms of European noble families and splendid full-page portraits of King Charles II of England and high-ranking figures of his court engraved by E. Le Davis, A. Bloteling, R. White.
