With 30 mezzotint engravings, a map of the Meuse, 4 maps of Namur, Liège, Dinant and Givet engraved in the text, two small tears on the white margins, rare blooms, slight reddening of the margins, coeval half leather binding with friezes and title imprinted in RP on the spine, slight defects. Signature of belonging to the title page.

First edition. The engravings of the Meuse made in the so-called black way in this work were conceived by the famous landscape architect George Arnald (1763-1841) during a stay in France and Belgium in 1828. & nbsp;
