Information
A rich set of historical documents relating to the imperial administration of the communities of Vicovaro, Vallinfreda, Tivoli, Saracinesco, Roccadi Cave, Civitella, Palombara etc. all dating from around 1808-14. Co-counters of the various municipalities and signed by Maire and other managers.
Specialist Notes
The Mayor of Cave writes on April 19, 1813 to the Prefect of Tivoli to approve the "bread tariff" in order to be able to post it in the places where "wheat is sold". On November 8, 1809, the Maire certifies that Francesco d'Antonj is an "honest person" so he can be granted "the license to carry the hunting gun". And then there are letters of recommendation, requests for pending payments, lists of conscripts and related issues, in short, a rich documentation that sheds light on the daily administration of these communities, in a period of transition between the Ancient and the new Regime.
