Typographic mark with motto on the title page, numerous illustrations engraved on wood accompanying the text, illustrated and ornate initials of different sizes, text in Roman font on a column, surrounded by commentary, a tiny work of woodworm in the first issues, with negligible interest from the text. Linked with Heroides epistolae cum omnibus commentariis ubique locorum hactenus impressis ... Venice, Girolamo Scotus, 1543. In 2 °. Letterpress with motto on the title page, numerous illustrations engraved on wood accompanying the text, ornate drop caps, text in Roman font on a column, surrounded by commentary, to both works, some stains, limited and sporadic halos of humidity at the edges, some restoration, modern binding, parts of the original binding preserved, laces, handwritten titles to the cut of the foot. Ex libris manuscript and notes of possession to the looks.

A good example, it collects two editions of Ovid's work printed in Venice by the Scotus presses. Both works are accompanied by beautiful woodcut illustrations.
