Woodcut friezes, 41 numbered engravings within ovals in the text, slight bluing, some papers with more intense bluing, rare blooms, small tear without loss at the lower inner margin of D8, coeval parchment binding, slight halos, traces of handwritten notations on the plates
Specialist Notes
First and only edition. The work was organized by the Portuguese priest in accordance with the liturgical calendar and is divided into de parts: the first with 56 eulogies and epigrams, the second with 41 eulogies and emblemata, each illustrated with a small elliptical engraving inscribed inside a rectangle with motifs vegetables at the corners.
