Venice, Gabriel Giolito di Ferrari, 1572. In 4th. Only part first. Headline and typographic mark on the title page, illustrated initials and woodcut friezes, 10 vignettes engraved in wood in the text, light browning, some halo, contemporary parchment binding, author and title in manuscripts on the spine, blue cuts, some stains, lacks on the back plate and to the back.
Specialist Notes
Interesting treatise proposed here in its second edition, the first is from 1570, which traces the history of kingdoms and nations from creation to contemporary times to the author. The work met with good success, so much so that it was reprinted six more times during the century. XVI.
