Frontespizio stampato in rosso e nero, testatine ornate, macchie al frontespizio e sparse, raffinata legatura francese in marocchino marrone con decorazione impressa in oro, piatti inquadrati da cornice di rotella, nella campitura seminato di piccoli ferri di giglio, ripetuti anche al dorso liscio, al centro entro ovale circondato da serco di lauro l'emblema della "theesis" (raffigurazione del Cristo crocefisso tra Maria e S. Giovanni), tagli dorati, sciupate le cerniere.
